Where is Niederthai?
Niederthai is a village of the Umhausen municipality in the Imst district/Tirol/Austria. It is home to 350 people and sits at an elevation of 1,540m a.s.l. in the Horlachtal valley (also known as Hairlachtal). Horlachtal valley is a tributary valley of Ötztal valley in the Stubai Alps. Niederthai lies above Stuibenfall waterfall at Horlachbach stream.

Ötztal region features a total of 143km of x-country skiing trails.

What’s the weather like in Niederthai?
Niederthai enjoys a continental climate. July and August are the hottest months of the year, December to February is the coldest time of the year. This region sees a lot of precipitation ensuring perfect conditions on the ski slopes.
