What´s up in the Kauner Valley?
The fantastic Kauner Valley is located between Paznaun and Pitz Valley. In winter the Ochsenalm lift takes you to the glacier ski area at an altitude of 2150 m to 3200 m.
A total of 36 piste kilometres for all levels of ability served by 13 modern lifts are available for skiers and snowboarders. High altitude guarantees snow and fantastic skiing. Powder carving from October to June - that’s possible on the Kauner Glacier in Tyrol. The view at the 3518m Weißseespitze Mountain is especially spectacular on a sunny day. The big Snow Park attracts snowboardes from all over the region and is home of the Spring Classics from April to May, where international riders meet.
Walk into a glacier
In summer drive on the Glacier Road up to 2750m. 29 turns take you through nearly all climatic zones. In the end you reach the marvellous world of the glaciers. Visit the 40m crevasse or take the Karlesjoch or the Falginjoch cable-cars and enjoy the fantastic view overlooking the mountains with a glance to Italia. The Tyrol Kauner Valley is worth visiting any time of the year.
