Where is Beuren?
The spa town of Beuren is situated in the Baden-Württemberg county of Essingen at an altitude of 435 m above sea level. The municipality covers an area of 11.69 km² and is home to 3,549 people. Population density amounts to 304 inhabitants per km². Stuttgart, the province capital, is only 28 km away.

What's Going On in the Summer?
The certified health resort of Beuren lies embedded between two impressive mountains of the Swabian Alb. About 50 km of hiking trails lead through fascinating rural areas. Enjoy the charming atmosphere in spring when pear, apple and cherry trees are in full blossom. Autumn is also very recommendable, as authentic inns and restaurants invite you to try delicious products made from cherries, apples and pears: jam, a refreshing must, the fine “Obstwässerle” or “Täleswein”, a wine that is grown in the surroundings.
What's Going On in the Winter?
The resort offers one ski lift and cross-country ski tracks. In addition, there are a great number of winter hiking trails. Beuren's most important attraction is Panorama Therme Beuren spa resort, which covers an area of 1000 km². Three indoor and four outdoor pools as well as steam baths and saunas offer a maximum of relaxation and rest. The spa grotto was built like a flowstone cave and emanates authentic Swabian Alb atmosphere.
