The German town of Emden is a seaport at the Dollart Bay in Lower Saxony, it is the biggest town of East Frisia. Emden is home to 49,900 people and it is the most western seaport in Germany. The harbour of Emden is about 38 sea miles from the famous island of Borkum. Knock is both the most western point of Emden and the most south-western point of the East Frisian peninsula.
