Valdelinares is characterized by a dry, high alpine climate with snow in winter. Nights are cool even at the height of summer and the days only moderately hot by Spanish standards. This makes Sierra a popular getaway for the many heat-plagued city dwellers from nearby Zaragoza and Valencia. Temperatures rarely exceed the 30 degree mark.
