The Community of Saas-Fee

Saas-Fee is situated at 1.798 m above sea level in the canton of Wallis. The community has 1.677 inhabitants and covers an area of 40,57 km².

Glacier skiing

This high alpine valley is very popular among winter tourists. Skiing and snowboarding is possible from 1800m to 3600m. Here you find the world’s highest revolving restaurant at 3500m. Enjoy an excellent meal while viewing the Swiss glaciers. It’s a unique experience!

Monte Rosa – an alpine classic

In summer 350 marked hiking trails lead through glacial scenery. There are many high-altitude trails above the Saas Valley. The several-day tour around Monte Rose is one of the classic hikes in the Alps. Saas-Fee is the ideal starting point for hikes into the mountains
