Skiing in the Kitzbühel Alps
Kirchberg, Pass Thurn and Kitzbühel are among the biggest ski areas in Austria with 170 kilometres of slopes. The Kitzbühel lifts are state-of-the-art and transport winter sport enthusiasts fast to Pengelstein Mountain or Resterhöhe Mountain. Cross-country skiers will love the 40 km of tracks.

The spectacular Hahnenkamm race is regarded as the most demanding race course in the alpine world cup and attracts more than 100.000 spectators each year. While the athletes race down a slope with an 85% gradient, stars like Franz Beckenbauer and Boris Becker meet in the finish area.
