The gondola starts at the bottom of Serles Mountain, right in the centre of Mieders. It runs both in winter and in summer. The ski resort has just recently updated its snow-making system and boasts perfectly groomed ski pistes.  Hochserles Mountain Restaurant, located at Koppeneck and Serlesbahnen Mountain Station respectively, offers delicious local food. Mieders is a very popular destination also in the summer. Great nature and fantastic offers attract holidaymakers from all over the world. The summer tobogganing run is a special highlight of every visit: it starts at Koppeneck mountain station and finishes at the valley station of the gondola. Nearby villages such as Telfes, Neustift, Kampl or Schönberg are also perfect starting points for hiking or mountain biking tours. Innsbruck is only 11km from Mieders and can easily be reached by bus; Innsbruck is known for its great cultural and culinary offer.
